The 2023 APCM shall take place Thursday 16th May 2024 at 7pm, St Luke's Church Hall.

The annual revision of the Church Electoral Roll will take place between 28th March and 25th April.  A Notice describing the Revision is pinned up in the church porch.

Annual Report on Proceedings of the PCC 2022

Although the year started with restrictions in place and caused May and July PCC meetings to be held via Zoom the other four PCC meetings were held in person.

The PCC is currently made up of the Vicar, one Associated Minister, a Readers’ Representative, two Deanery Synod Members, nine elected members and a co-opted Treasurer.

The “Sharing the Load” areas continued to enable their “Champion” to monitor the groups within their area. Noticeably in Outreach and the Children and Youth group.

The Treasurer cautioned the PCC that urgent action was necessary to improve the church finances for which, as Trustees of the Charity, the PCC were responsible.

The “WhatsApp” prayer group continued to provide support during this most challenging time.

A private faculty for the reservation of a grave space on behalf of the Whitaker family was approved.

Copies of approved minutes for all PCC meetings will be posted on the website and when permitted placed at the back of the church for general information.
