The Annual Leaf Lift

The annual leaf lift was very successful with about 40 turning out to give the church yard its most thorough blitz for years.

Fred Robbins, the church-yard manager had arranged for dozens of flexible one square metre bags to be available and these were filled and refilled on a shuttle service back to a composting dump. There was also significant work done on the vicarage hedges - an enjoyable convivial lunch in the church rooms ended a good team effort.
