Teenagers

Monthly Youth Service

If you are between 10 and 15 years old why not come along on the fourth Sunday of any month at 6.00pm for an hour and enjoy the music and have some fun.

This is a regular monthly event to help the young of our village identify with their Church and to meet others. Held in the church rooms it is hoped that those attending will be able to relax in an informal atmosphere.

Why not suggest it to your junior family members - the more the merrier and the more prospect of everyone gaining friends and experiencing another slice of life.

Here are some of our best memories from our last year together –

  • “apple bobbing”
  • “donut string eating” Just -
  • “eating the food!”
  • “fun games”
  • “the water slide”

And this Easter we have tried our hand at egg bowling........

Yes, we have lots of fun, and in and through the fun, we enjoy a time “to relax and reflect” together about our lives and the meaning of life.

Questions – Questions – we do have lots of questions and this term we will try to explore some answers by considering the teaching of Jesus in his Sermon on the Mount.

Sessions - these run in the church rooms from 6 – 7.15pm

Questions we will tackle this term -

  • 1. Is God harsh - is that why bad stuff happens? Matthew 5 and 7
  • 2. Is it wrong to be rich? Matthew 6. 1-4; 19-34
  • 3. Relationships – How on earth?! Matthew 5.

We look forward to having a great term – you are so welcome - come and join us!
